Just did my 2015 grand caravan at 145k. Had a slight slip between 6 and 7. Fixed problem! Also I used the gasket. So far no leaks

We have a few local wreckers that you can go in and take the parts you need. A great place to practice taking things apart. I was wondering if you had any cam damage caused by the bad rocker? I hope to find a good cam at the wrecker if mine is damaged. I pray my van sounds like yours when I am done by the "Grace of God".

Along the same Idea I use a old depleted air freshener can, the little flat one with the cage on top that has a piece of cotton like material in it... got it going through a car wash in their boutique. I spray the cotton block every 2 weeks and put that under the passengers seat and a little on the cars cabin filter. I was looking for a longer lasting better smelling air freshener than the scented oil I use, I will definitely give the Chemical guy one a try. thanks for the tip.

The parts have gotten so cheap. I got the OBD2 reader for $10, the brake controller and switch for $20, and the bypass for $15 (Oh and the app for $49 on the Android store). This is wild for a "huge" upgrade like this. Thanks for the video. This is on a 2022 1500 Longhorn.

i just had the dealer install a hitch for me but i think maybe they might have just basically reinstalled a class 3 hitch with that receiver adapter. i'm going to find out tomorrow and if they f'd me over like that i have zero use for a class 3 hitch i can not even move my boat at all. this is stressing me out. and i dont understand why they would even offer this stupid class 3 hitch in the first place knowing damn well the class 4 hitch is only like another 20 dollars... 20 dollars to make everything so much more simple and for people to actually get a real life hitch for a 12,750 pound supposedly rated truck. why ram lies so much about everything...?

im so frustrated with ram right now why in the fuck would they put a class 3 hitch on a 5.7 hemi so that i could wind up taking out my whole shit and causing a huge mess on the road. smh... so aggravating. so im going to buy a real class 4 hitch so that i could put it on myself because these guys r fucking idiots. so what can i do with the old class 3 hitch then is it just totally worthless? smh...

Any idea what to do if i have accidentally vaccumed the fluid more than half way up the meter and it wont come down feel like i wasted 130 buckd bc i didnt watch a video saying to calibrate it before use

If you install a new cam, you're are going to need to use a scan tool to go through the camshaft re-learn process. Also, don't let anything magnetic near the transmission side of the cam. I just did new lifters and rockers on mine and had to replace the left (front on my van) exhaust cam. I had to laugh when you found the tensioner release tool. Good job.

As someone with years of auto sales experience at various dealerships including at several GM stores, I can tell you a few things from experience. First, you never say to a mechanic or tech "not to rush" or "take your time." All shop employees get paid on commission and make much less on factory service work than they do on regular service, so they try to rush and sometimes cut corners on warranty jobs. Because of this, if you don't convey a sense of urgency they will put your car on the back burner, and only work on it when things are slow and they have down time. Second, no dealer is going to take wheels off of a car that's available for sale on their lot to fix another customer's car, no matter how good that customer. That's because then they can't sell the other car that no longer has wheels. You see, every car in inventory is costing the dealer money because they're paying flooring and interest to the bank, so the longer the car remains on the lot, the smaller the profit when its finally sold. And all Sales Managers want to have their inventory available for sale at all times. They never want to be in a position where they lose a potential sale because a car was unavailable because parts were missing. That's the bottom-line. I'm glad everything worked out in the end.
